We are in full swing with Kalyn's volleyball season. The team does very well as a whole but they do not like mornings. They had a tournament this past weekend and left the school at 6:15 am. Thankfully we didn't have to leave our house until 7:30 (still toooooo early). The team didn't wake up and start playing well until about 11 am. Live and learn right. It's great to see these girls, most of whom have played since 6th grade improve so much over the years. One of Kalyn's evening activities after volleyball practice, homework, dinner and visiting with her mom is to practice her sets and hits with Jonathan. He knows so much about the sport and is always willing to give her a hand or actually two. She has said that she practices with Dad so that he can teach her what to do and then she practices with me just to go through the motions of what she has learned from Jonathan. I'm not sure how to take that but oh well.
So the girls were out tonight all playing volleyball in the front yard. Jonathan started with Kalyn, then he moved on to help Elianna and Kalyn helped Abigail. They took a volleyball camp this summer and learned quite a bit. Then they all moved to play together when Melissa came out to join them. I went for the camera, that's my contribution.
